Tourism Revival in Nepal: Nation Welcomes 3000 Tourists in July!
After being bogged down for almost one and a half years by the pandemic, the Nepali tourism sector has started witnessing a tourism influx.
Despite the threat of the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the Himalayan country welcomed around 3,000 international tourists last month.
According to the Department of Immigration, 2,991 tourists, including 1,940 men and 1,050 women, arrived in Nepal in July 2021 via Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). In June, the arrivals stood at 1,143.

Likewise, 26 tourists from the Netherlands, 19 from Russia, 14 from Bhutan, five from Pakistan, four from Bangladesh, and three from Sri Lanka had arrived in Nepal in the last month.
In the same period, around 3,157 international travelers have departed from TIA.
